Function Features That Empower Learning

Master the Art of Oral Cavity Intubation with Unparalleled Precision

Experience Seamless Nasal Intubation with Our Expertly Designed Model

Important Notice: Please ensure you have your own laryngoscope, tooth support, and resuscitator ready, as the simulator package does not include these items. Equip yourself with the essentials for an effective training experience.

Easily activate the alarm switch located at the base's back to commence your intubation practice.

Comprehensive Guide to Oral Cavity Intubation

Step 1: Thorough Preparation

A. Ensure the laryngoscope is in optimal condition; the headlight shines brightly when correctly connected to the handle.

B. Verify the integrity of the ductus cuff by injecting air with a syringe to check for leaks, then deflate the cuff as necessary.

C. Gently apply lubricant to the ductus front and cuff surface using a soft cloth for smooth operation.

D. Carefully lubricate the intratrachea with a brush dipped in lubricant to facilitate seamless insertion.

Step 2: Position the model on its back, tilt the head backward, and elevate the neck to align the mouth, pharynx, and trachea on a single axis.

Step 3: Stand by the model's head; use your left hand to hold the laryngoscope. Ensure a right angle alignment with the larynx. Insert the laryngoscope at the tongue root, gently lift to visualize the epiglottis edge, and proceed to view the glottis.

Step 4: Once the glottis is visible, gently insert the ductus with your right hand into the glottis, using a 'clockwise and counter-clockwise' twist. Insert approximately 4 cm for adults and 2 cm for children.

Step 5: Secure the ductus with a tooth support and then carefully remove the laryngoscope.

Step 6: Attach the resuscitator to the ductus and gently press to inflate, ensuring proper function.

Step 7: Proper ductus insertion into the trachea results in lung inflation. An erroneous esophagus insertion will cause stomach inflation accompanied by a warning beep.

Step 8: Secure both the ductus and tooth support post insertion into the trachea.

Step 9: Inflate the ductus cuff with a syringe to ensure a tight seal between the trachea wall and ductus, preventing air leaks, and backflow of vomit and secretions.

Step 10: Before removing the ductus, ensure the cuff is deflated using a syringe.

Step 11: Incorrect use of the laryngoscope, such as pressing against teeth, will trigger a warning beep for corrective action.

Nasal Intubation for Enhanced Learning:

Skillfully insert the ductus vertically into the nostril, guiding it through the nasal passage to the pharynx. Use your left hand to maneuver the laryngoscope, exposing the glottis; continue pushing the ductus with your right hand into the glottis. Follow the same process as oral intubation for subsequent steps.

Maintenance Guidelines for Prolonged Usability

1. Post-training, meticulously clean the ductus and cuff with a soft cloth to remove lubricant residues.

2. Clean the model using mild soap and water, avoiding immersion of the torso in any cleaning fluids or water.

3. Utilize only clean surfaces for operation. Steer clear of felt-tipped markers, ink pens, acetone, iodine, or any staining substances, and refrain from placing the torso on newspapers or inked lines.

4. If the warning beep fails to activate, please inspect the batteries for functionality. Should they be depleted, replace them promptly and reattempt the operation to ensure seamless performance.

5. To maintain the model's pristine condition and prolong its lifespan, please ensure the torso is meticulously cleaned following each training session. Moreover, conduct a general inspection routinely to guarantee its optimal condition.

6. Ensure the model is stored properly in a controlled environment between teaching sessions to preserve its integrity and readiness for subsequent use.
